Staycation - Day 1

Today we went to tour the Hunley.  The tour itself was just ok, but it was pretty cool to see the actual sub and it was amazing how small it was and that eight men were in it!

We looked around at all the artifacts and had fun sitting in the replica that was used in the movie, The Hunley.  Considering watching the movie tonight, but not sure if I'm up for that.

The pictures I took suck, but he was having fun, so I had to post.

Then we were going to head to lunch at Mixson Market and Joey remembered that he had eaten close by the old navy base where we were, so we drove around a bit and found Riverside Park.  How I had never been here, I don't know, but we walked around and had a great time. Pics from the pier...
